DRUGS & ALCOHOL TESTING

 Standard Urine Drug Test (5‐Panel) will determine the presence or absence of 10 types of drugs or their metabolites in your urine.   This test is a laboratory-based test and includes a screen and a confirmation if necessary.  

Urine Drug Test (5‐Panel) checks for the presence of 5 drug metabolites including:

1. Amphetamine/Methamphetamines
2. Cocaine
3. Marijuana
4. Opiates
5. Phencyclidine

The drug screen results take 24 to 48 business hours after specimen collection, when the drug screen is performed in the laboratory. If the drug screen is non-negative, the result and specimen will then need to be confirmed. Confirmation takes an additional 48 to 72 business hours after the screen is completed.

The EtG Urine Alcohol Test will detect ingestion of Ethyl Alcohol within the past 80 hours. EtG is a metabolite of Ethyl Alcohol, and can be detected for longer periods of time after ingestion than simply testing for Ethyl Alcohol. This test is not an under the influence test.  The specimen will be screened, and if necessary will be tested by GC/MS.

This test is a laboratory-based test, and includes a screen and a confirmation if necessary.  The levels listed below indicate the cut off level for a negative or positive result.

 Hair Follicle Drug Test (5‐Panel) checks for the presence of five (5) drug metabolites including:

1. Amphetamine/Methamphetamines
2. Cocaine
3. Marijuana
4. Opiates
5. Phencyclidine

 Hair Follicle Drug Test (5‐Panel) will determine the presence or absence of 5 types of drugs in your hair.   Most people requesting a Hair Follicle Drug Test request a detection window for up to 90 days, depending upon the length of hair collected.  A small sample of hair will be collected from several inconspicuous spots on your head.  As a substitute, body hair can be used; however, the detection window varies for body hair.

 Testing is conducted on the hair shaft which prevents external contamination on the outside of the hair that may occur during accidental exposure, such as being in the same vicinity as someone using drugs. Traces of drugs will remain in the hair longer than in the urine or the blood providing a much longer detection window. Most often a 90 day detection window is requested for hair follicle drug tests. 

 The 10 Panel Drug Test using hair detects drug use of the 10 most popular drugs of abuse within the previous 1 to 3 months. Because hair cannot be tampered with, the hair follicle drug test ensures accurate results that are non-invasive. The detection window is affected by the length of the hair which varies from person to person. Hair follicle drug testing is a convenient, non-invasive, extremely accurate method of drug testing for common illicit drugs. Small sections of hair are cut from several inconspicuous places on the head. Body hair can also be used but the detection window is less predictable for body hair. 

  Hair Follicle Drug Test (10‐Panel) hair clippings for the presence/use of 10 drugs, generally for a detection period that includes the previous 3 months.  The test will cover use of the following drugs:

 The 5 Rapid Drug Screen will qualitatively determine the presence or absence of 5 classes of drugs and/or their metabolites in your urine.  This test is considered a screening tool only.  Positive results are considered presumptive, and should not be interpreted as definitive evidence of substance use without additional laboratory-based confirmation testing.  Laboratory confirmation of presumptively positive instant drug test results is available if necessary.  

 The test results from the instant drug screen are available within minutes after the specimen collection.
